GARNER Arts Center is looking for an artist to share our Education Studio, an 850 sq. ft studio in Building 24, the oldest artist studio building in the GARNER Historic District.

Work alongside a diverse network of tenants, in a thriving arts, business and cultural district. The studio faces in toward the complex, with a direct view of the on-site craft brewery (Industrial Arts Brewing Company). Because this is the home to GARNER Arts Center’s educational programming (mainly Saturday mornings), schedule coordination will be required. The Ned Harris Education Studio’s home, the GARNER Historic District, has all kinds of great resources for artists including: a family owned hardware store across the street, yoga studio down the hall, on-site craft brewery, on-site restaurant (opening late 2018), CrossFit & personal training gyms and a Creekside sculpture trail.

Rent is $500 per month, with paid teaching opportunities possible to put toward rent payments. Tenant will be required to provide a certificate of General Liability. GARNER Arts Center is amenable to discussing shared resources such as internet.

Studio Includes:

  • passenger elevator access
  • slop sink
  • air conditioning
  • large work tables
  • flat files
  • small locked storage closet.

Other Information:

  • Unfortunately, at this time, are unable to sublet to musicians due to sound restrictions.
  • The studio does not include a Kiln.

There will be a selection process to find the right sub-tenant. Interested artists, please email us at info@garnerartscenter.org. Please include website/social media links.
