Description:
Samantha Roesemann is a multi media artist who uses repurposed materials in a variety of styles. She is an artist and builder reclaiming the gender norms that gather around being a homemaker and home builder. 

This sculpture, Homemaker, is made of recycled and repurposed materials that  frame and fill the homes we occupy. The disposable, non-recyclable plastics are cleaned, ironed, sewn and quilted together. They sheath a hand framed wooden house built of unused construction materials.
